What would you do if you didn't have to work? This series is the amalgamation of many visions and ideas of what could be without the exploitive and unfulfilling jobs that take hold of our lives.

Without Work

To form my canvas, I cut and flattened a total of 20 Yerba Mate cans (which really only made a small dent in my collection of Yerba cans...), then connected them into formations with jump rings.

The first layer was painted on with acrylic paint. Once it dried, I etched into it with a sharp metal tool. I then used a white gel pen to add details and emphasize words.
